The Reasonwave FM signal path: masters, the Spark, the rules, the decks, the needle and the stream.
Reasonwave FM · how it works

From a purchased master to your ears.

01

Masters, untouched

Lossless originals. Tags read, key mapped. Nothing is ever edited — only played.

02

The Spark listens

Beat and downbeat grid on the GPU. Phrase map: intro · build · drop · roll · breakdown. Every bar labelled: cut it, blend it, or leave the vocal alone.

03

Taught, not guessed

The DJ learned from published craft and measured data: phrase rules, the one-bass rule, 36° strokes at 170°/s. Every mix it plays is logged and listened back — and the rules get sharper.

learnsEvery mix played on air is logged and listened back. What sounds wrong becomes a rule, and the next mix plays by it.
04

Mixed live

Both decks on one clock. Rate-locked, bar-aligned, drop on the one. One low end at a time. Beat-accurate cuts. Never rendered to a file.

05

A needle, modelled

Scratches rendered from the physics: level follows stylus speed, RIAA tilt at pace, surface noise that moves with the hand, a silent glide through zero at every reversal.

06

On the Wave

Live decks that run in time with your ears. Every play logged. Then the next record.
