MSPs, IT resellers, cloud providers, telecoms companies, system integrators. You sell efficiency and intelligence to your clients. But inside your own business, contracts are managed on spreadsheets, churn is invisible until it happens and margin leaks between the sale and the delivery.
A bespoke AI platform connects your contract profitability, your customer health signals, your engineering operations and your renewal pipeline. All on private UK infrastructure, snapshot-replicated to a separate UK data centre, with a website that generates qualified inbound every day.
Contracts priced on estimated resource consumption. Actual time tracked loosely or not at all. The customers who shout the loudest absorb the most resource and the margin analysis is never done because it is too painful. Your platform tracks every hour of engineer time, every tooling cost and every third-party expense against every customer and every contract. Cortex tells you which contracts are making money and which ones you should not renew on the same terms.
Network diagrams in one system. Asset inventory in another. Incident history somewhere else. The last three P1s were related but nobody joined the dots. Your platform gives every engineer instant access to a complete customer environment view. Cortex identifies pattern matches with previous incidents and suggests the most likely resolution path. Your MTTR drops because the context is always there.
Churn in managed services rarely arrives without warning. Engagement drops first. Then invoice questions. Then a competitor conversation you do not know is happening. Your platform tracks engagement signals across every customer. Cortex identifies the early warning patterns and flags at-risk customers 90 days before the cancellation conversation, not the day of it.
Renewal dates buried in contracts nobody reads until a customer mentions they are leaving. Services priced at 2021 rates in a 2026 cost environment. Your platform tracks every renewal date, every pricing commitment and every commercial term. Cortex alerts 120 days before renewal with a commercial analysis of what the contract costs to deliver today versus when it was signed.
End-of-life systems on production infrastructure. Security vulnerabilities documented in your monitoring platform but never escalated because the conversation is uncomfortable. Your platform tracks every asset across every customer environment. Cortex produces a risk register for each customer, prioritised by severity and commercial impact. The uncomfortable conversations happen before the breach, not after.
Sales incentivised on revenue. Operations delivering on margin. The disconnect shows up in contracts that seemed profitable at signature and look very different six months in. Your platform connects sales pipeline data to actual delivery margin for every customer. Cortex identifies which sales patterns correlate with profitable delivery and which ones do not. Your sales team starts optimising for the deals worth winning.
Every hour of engineer time, every tooling cost and every third-party expense tracked against every customer and contract in real time. Profitability by customer, by service line and by contract visible at all times. Cortex flags contracts approaching renewal that are being delivered below their priced margin. Your commercial team renews at the right price rather than the price of least resistance.
Complete customer environment data available to every engineer on every ticket from the first moment. Pattern matching across incident history to suggest probable causes. SLA tracking with automated escalation. Cortex provides the briefing your engineers need to start resolving rather than start gathering. MTTR drops because context is always there.
Engagement signals tracked across every customer. Ticket volume, NPS trends, QBR attendance, upsell response rates and invoice dispute patterns all monitored. Cortex identifies the combination of signals that historically precede churn and flags customers showing them. Your customer success team intervenes before the customer has made a decision, not after.
Contract renewal dates, pricing commitments, service level obligations and commercial terms tracked for every customer. Automated alerts 120 days before renewal with a commercial analysis. Cortex models the pricing conversation including what the contract was worth at signing versus delivery cost today versus current market rate.
Complete asset inventory across every customer environment. End-of-life tracking with commercial risk assessment. Security vulnerability management connected to your monitoring platform. Cortex produces a risk register for every customer prioritised by severity and liability. Proactive customer conversations happen before incidents.
Sales pipeline connected to delivery margin for every customer. Historical correlation between deal characteristics and actual profitability visible to every account manager. Cortex identifies which opportunities match your highest-margin customer profile and flags the ones that historically deliver poor outcomes.
For technology and managed service providers, inbound leads are the highest-quality leads. A fully built website managed from inside your platform. Service pages written to convert. Case studies showing real outcomes. Accreditation badges always current. Cortex generates content for every technology area you cover. SEO and GEO built in so you show up when businesses search for managed services in your areas.
Cortex knows your contract profitability, your customer environment data, your churn risk signals and your renewal pipeline. Ask it which contracts are loss-making, who is at risk of churning, what to propose at an upcoming renewal or what is causing a P1.
"It answers like a commercial director who has read every contract, attended every QBR and never missed a renewal date."
Every director takes two minutes on the last Friday of the month. The brain collates their updates, cross-references them against everything it knows about the business, and produces the board pack. Then it adds its own report: an independent analysis no director wrote, with no political considerations, that flags what the board needs to act on before the meeting starts.
New logo wins up this month. Three managed service contracts signed, two more in final commercial stage. Renewal season starting, early signals positive. One large client has raised a service quality concern we are managing closely.
SUBMITTED · FRIDAY 16:38Helpdesk SLA at 94% this month against 95% target. Ticket volume up 12% following two client onboardings. One P1 incident this month, resolved in 4 hours, RCA complete. Engineer utilisation at 87%.
SUBMITTED · FRIDAY 16:42MRR £312k, up 3% month on month. Gross margin 68%, one point below target due to overtime on the new onboardings. Three invoices overdue. Pipeline value £1.1M weighted.
SUBMITTED · FRIDAY 16:46Client satisfaction scores broadly positive. The one exception is the client who raised service concerns, NPS from them dropped significantly. Account review scheduled. Two upcoming QBRs next month with our largest contracts.
SUBMITTED · FRIDAY 16:50The following analysis was prepared by Cortex from the director updates above, combined with live platform data. It is independent of any director's submission and has been prepared without prior sight of the agenda.
The client with the service quality concern and a significant NPS drop is a retention risk that needs to be resolved before the account review, not at it. Based on ticket history, the issue originated from a recurring configuration fault that was closed three times without root cause resolution. The client has been experiencing the same problem in different forms for 11 weeks. The account review should open with acknowledgement of the pattern, not a defence of the SLA numbers. The MD should be in that room.
94% against a 95% SLA target with ticket volume up 12% is a combination worth watching. The utilisation rate of 87% leaves limited capacity to absorb further volume growth without either SLA breach or margin pressure from overtime. If the two contracts in final commercial stage close this month, onboarding capacity needs to be planned now, not reactively.
One point below target on margin due to onboarding overtime is understandable this month but the pattern should be reviewed. If new client onboardings consistently produce margin drag, the onboarding fee structure or the onboarding process itself needs adjusting. This is worth a specific review before the next contract is priced.
Three new logos this month and a £1.1M weighted pipeline is strong. The renewal season starting with positive signals is the most important commercial indicator. MRR growth of 3% month on month is healthy. The business is growing well. The risk this month is operational capacity keeping pace with commercial momentum.
Cortex has no politics, no relationships to protect and no agenda. It tells the board what the data says, not what anyone wanted it to say.
It has read every director's update and cross-referenced it against live platform data before it writes a word. No human could do that in 40 seconds.
Every claim references its source. The board can interrogate any finding and trace it back to the underlying data, transaction or record.
Runs under the Sheriff: cites sources, flags uncertainty, never invents figures and always distinguishes between what the data shows and what it recommends.
A 30 minute call. No deck, no pressure, no junior sales rep. You talk, we listen, and you leave with a straight answer on whether a brain makes sense for your business.
